Things are going very well here with our children’s home, but as our family has grown, so has the expense. If we are going to continue to grow we need to expand our partner base.
We have always said we do not wish to be a burden to anybody. The Glowing Hearts vision is a representation of our personal faith. We help kids because we want to serve God by helping kids in difficult situations. But to be here in Thailand full time means that we can’t raise enough money on our own to make this whole thing work. For this reason we wish to gather a solid base of partners contributing small amounts. In this way we mirror a healthy body, with every part contributing to the overall health; but with no part being overly stressed.
Anchalee and I feel that 35 dollars a month is an amount that makes partnership accessible to a wide range of people from youth groups to seniors. Because of this we have decided to introduce the ‘35 at 35 drive’ to help meet our growth target for 2010. This means we are hoping for 35 new partners contributing 35 dollars per month. If you are considering being part of a simple and effective good work, You can't do better than helping kids at risk in Thailand get a new chance at life.
