A wondeful visit from Anne and Sue

Recently we had the honor of hosting two wonderful ladies from down under. Anne Quinn and Sue Pull came up from Mildura, Australia to see how they could make a difference for kids in Thailand. This is Anne’s second visit. She was up here last spring with her husband and two of their lovely daughters. When Anne returned to Mildura She gave a report to her church and vowed to return. Sue was so encouraged by this report that she informed Anne that she was coming with her next time.

They were very busy fund raising in the time leading up to their visit. One of the things they arranged was a fashion show which raised $1,200. This money and more, went to help out three different ministries including Glowing Hearts, but that’s not all, many thoughtful gifts were given: sporting goods and toys for kids, a donation to help a pastor finish training, and even help with a hospital bill for a new mom who had gone through a complicated birth.

We took Anne up to a remote village for an overnight stay and she shared a great testimony at their 6:00 AM Sunday service. The first of three in that village church. Some parts of the experience were a little rough, even by our standards, but we think Anne had a good time just the same, she had a great attitude despite the high risk dining. She will never forget it we’re sure.

While we were in the mountains, Sue visited with our friends from the Agape home and had a wonderful time there as well. Later Anne and Sue drove to a third children’s home and spent some time with the kids over there.

Every step of the way Anne and Sue spread their good will and Christian witness, making them very good ambassadors of the Kingdom, and Australia too. Thank you Anne and Sue, you are welcome anytime, God bless you.
