Anchalee and I would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone for being so wonderful while we were in Canada. It seemed like a short trip, but we made a lot of progress. Our main goal was to spread the word about Glowing hearts and encourage more people to become part of our vision. But also we were happy to be back with friends and family.
The good news is that our partner base is a little wider, and there were some unexpected and generous donations as well. This is a great encouragement, as Anchalee and I frequently wonder about how the things we do are received. We now have much more confidence to push ahead into the project and to help more kids.
Everything is OK back here in Asia, Ying and Pat were taking care of Gideon and Koko, but Ying found out she was pregnant when she developed a very strong case of morning sickness. I think Pat had to work very hard after that because Ying could hardly ever leave the bed. Ying is looking better now and we see alot more of her. We are happy about the little one that is on the way. Another baby will make this a complicated place, but we will make it work like one big family.
We have also looked in on our frog farm, and I have made a report here.
We are hoping that we can nowstart to work on the most important piece of our children's home vision; Which is a property that would be suitable for a children's home of at least 15 children. We have our eyes open now for land that would work the best. I think the best case would be if we could find land which already had a building or buildings that would work for us tempoararily. This way we would not also have to begin a building project right away.
We really need your prayers, and any advice or encouragement you can offer. There is quite a bit of mystery about what our next step will be, but we know we serve a big God, and we believe He is able to find us the perfect home for Glowing Hearts.
God bless you all.
